Kinetic study of photocatalytic degradation of quinoline over nanosized titanium dioxide

Kinetics for photocatalytic degradation of quinoline over nanosized titanium dioxide prepared by sol-gel method was investigated. On the basis of Langmuir-Hinshelwood model, a kinetic equation for the quinoline degradation over TiO₂ was proposed, which can be described as r = 0.296kc_t/(1+0.296c_t), where lnk =-0.411 1 lnc₀+2.278.
