Abstract
TPR,XRD,XPS and H2pulse adsorption were used to investigate the influence of zirconia on the stability of Co/SiO2 catalyst for FischerTropsch synthesis. The results showed that the Co dispersion and the stability of the catalyst were both improved obviously as ZrO2 was introduced. Zirconia acted as a structural promoter and restrained the formation of the cobalt silicate and/or hydrosilicate species during the reaction.
