Abstract
The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in flue gas emitted from a coalfired power plant equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) deNOx device were determined. The concentrations and distributions of phase and type of PAHs in the flue gas at the outlet and inlet of the SCR device were compared. The results show that the SCR deNOx device leads to the increase of concentrations and toxic equivalent of PAHs, especially the low rings of PAHs in the flue gas. However, the device has no significant influence on the PAHs partition between particle and the gas phase.
