Solubility of carbon dioxide in mixed solution of MDEA-AMP

The solubility of CO₂ in the mixed solution of methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) was measured at 25℃, 30℃ and 40℃; the effects of CO₂ concentration in gas phase, temperature and solution composition on the CO₂ solubility were examined. The results indicted that the solubility of CO₂ increases with the increase of gaseous CO₂ concentration or the AMP content in the MDEA-AMP mixed solution, but decreases with the increase of temperature.
