Abstract:
The waste water from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis plant was treated by Fenton-UASB-Biological contact oxidation combined process. The results showed that the pretreatment of the waste water by Fenton oxidation can not only eliminate COD
Cr by 63%, but also improve its bio-degradability effectively when the pH was 3, reaction time were 120min and dosage of H
2O
2 and Fe
2+ was 30mL/L and 1.2g/L respectively; after treatment by UASB anaerobic, the COD
Cr removal rate could reach up to 90%; and finally after contact oxidation, the effluent COD
Cr was below 100mg/L, which can meet the second discharge standard of chemical waste water in GB8978-1996 Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard.
